I see a lot of record labels that have their own YT channels do this. Irks me to no end.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; But yeah, this is a big gray area I think.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;</description>

Things can potentially become public domain on YT, but it seems like having your cake and eating it too when you disable the embed to retain control. It's a free website, they aren't charged anything for the free exposure.  I think they should have to pay to disable the embed since it's a free website for sharing video and they aren't (totally) sharing, they are using it as an advertising platform.&lt;br /&gt; &lt;br /&gt; I'm tired, I hope I'm making sense...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;</description>
